Take Ownership of Your Project Resource
You can manage and edit the resource record associated with your project by registering as its author!
If you have not taken ownership of your Project Resource, we'll need your name and email address, and the BPC Digital Library resource title and URL associated with the project.
To find the resource record, browse the Projects page or search the BPC Digital Library.
Email Yunlu Zhang with the relevant information.
Edit Your Project Resource
To make changes to the title, description, or any portion of your Project Resource, you must be a registered user with ownership of the project resource page.
(see above). Sign in and then locate your Project Resource page. You will see the "Edit" link in the upper right of the body of the page.
Select "Edit" and follow the steps to make, preview and save your changes. You will also see links to "Create New Match-Maker Profile"
for the Match-Maker Service (see more below).
Use the BPC "Match-Maker" Service!
Our Match-Maker Service links potential BPC (Broadening Participation in Computing) proposers and
new users to more experienced members of the BPC community. It also links currently funded NSF BPC grantees with potential grantees to fill a gap in
the existing programs through new collaborative proposals, and enables resource sharing, recruitment, and dissemination opportunities.
Each individual activity, workshop or service associated with a Project Resource should be listed as a separate Match-Maker Profile;
a Project Resource may have as many Match-Maker Profiles as necessary.
How do I create and link a Match-Maker Profile with my Project Resource?
To create and link a Match-Maker Profile, go to the Project Resource of which you have ownership (see above),
and click on "Create New Match-Maker Profile" in the upper right of the page.
Follow the steps to complete and submit the Match-Maker Profile form. The submitted Match-Maker Profile will be linked to your Project Resource.

Use Search Appliances and News Feeds via Inline Frames
Stay involved by placing a BPC search appliance or news feed on your own site.
Below are examples of the use of inline frames (iframes) to create a hosted BPC search appliance or news feed.
The code necessary to use an iframe is minimal.
To include the iframe in a web page, simple tags containing the source url and desired attributes of the
iframe are embedded in the site code where the hosted search is to be located. Height and width, and other
optional attributes of the iframe, can be set to the values that best suit your site layout. Below you'll
find three hosted searches and one news feed that can be added to a site, and the line of code needed to do so.
Simply click, copy and paste the line of code to be embedded.
These are some of the optional attribute values for the iframe:
height: pixels, % - defines the height of the iframe
width: pixels, % - defines the width of the iframe
scrolling: yes, no, auto - defines scroll bars
align: left, right, top, middle, bottom - specifies how to align the iframe according to the surrounding text
frameborder: 1, 0 - specifies whether or not to display a frame border
marginheight: pixels - defines the top and bottom margins of the iframe
marginwidth: pixels - defines the left and right margins of the iframe
